International scientific conference «Russian intelligentsia and the Revolution in the literature of the ХХ century».

The museum together with the Institute of World Literature and Saratov State University starts preparing international scientific conference

Russian intelligentsia and the Revolution in the literature

of the ХХ century.

To the 100th of the Revolution of 1917 anniversary.

To the 125th of Konstantin Fedin's anniversary.

The conference will take place 10-12 October 2017 in the State Museum of K.A. Fedin (Saratov).

We offer the following discussion points:

• The philosophical, religious, ideological, aesthetic searchings of the Russian intelligentsia on the eve of the revolution.
• The fate of the intelligentsia in the revolutionary and post-revolutionary period.
• Reflection the theme of the intelligentsia and the Revolution of 1917, in the literature of XX century.
• The Revolution through the prism of the ego-documents.
• Discursive practices of the revolutionary era.
• Intelligentsia and the Revolution: a regional aspect.
• Konstantin Fedin: view from the twenty-first century.
